First, I had to make the BEST dip I have ever tasted. Here is the recipe: http://www.cookingclassy.com/2013/05/nutella-cheesecake-dip/. You need to click that and make it. It is delicious. I ate it with apples, graham crackers and other fruits.
Second, I went to my friend Pam and Brandon's house for some onesie decorating and holding a VERY cute little guy. My new friend was all smiles and lots of fun rolled into an almost one year old package of 20 pounds. It was a great day. Sunny sunshine, good food, and giggles for a great couple of people who are about to have a little bambino.
Third, I had to catch up on my second favorite Marissa Tomei movie, Only You. This is a departure from the DVD collection. This film is on VHS, not just a regular VHS. When we were kids we witnessed piracy at its finest. Two VCRs hooked up to the TV to record movies straight from video store to our shelves. Three movies to a tape and hours of stolen entertainment. Please note below that this tape includes the movie Sabrina (new one) with Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond. Not to be confused with our other tape that had Sabrina (old one) with Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart.
Tonight I am rewatching Only You for the 50th or so time and still enjoying it. It is helping me pack. The problem is that they travel to Italy in this movie and I do not own clothes that are appropriate for such a trip. I suppose my blue jeans and tshirt lifestyle will have to do. This movie is very funny and all about two people searching for their destiny. My favorite part is when one of the characters named Larry says "Italy, my wife's in Italy!" But he pronounces Italy like this: Itlee. I giggle every time.
Agreed! The dip and the onesies were fabulous! Save travels on your trip! :)
